I’m Crystal, and I think you’re beautiful.

There is beauty in everyone- real beauty.  There is beauty in the joy that you find in the person you love.  There is beauty in your laughter, and the way your eyes sparkle when he teases you. 

You are a real, living, breathing, changing, learning, living person.  And all that living leaves an imprint on you- on your heart, on your soul, and yes, on your appearance, too.

And you know what?  I love that.

I love that the sun leaves a spray of freckles across your nose.  I love that all the laughing and loving you have shared with your spouse, your babies, your friends, your family have left little crinkles by your eyes.

I love that we are having so much fun running through the sand with your fiancé and taking photos has made you forget about keeping your hair perfect, and the wind tossed it.  I love that you forgot to “pose” perfectly, and you smiled really, really big when she cracked a dorky joke that only you could hear. 

I think the world needs to see your real, honest beauty.  I think your photos need to reflect that untouched beauty.  I think your kids need to look back on your photos and see the real, honest you.

That is why I am committed to capturing your honest beauty, and I pledge to refrain from editing out signs of life from my clients.
