Sarah and Jacob are easy to love. Not only are they adorably head over heels for each other, they are completely comfortable with being themselves. They met when they both started working for the Marine Corps Band- Jacob on Tuba and Sarah on French Horn. Sarah admits that she noticed how cute Jacob was, and it turns out that the feeling was mutual. Jacob worked up the nerve to ask Sarah out, and invited her over to his place so he could, "Woo [her] with a hot tater tot dish." It didn't take long for Sarah to figure out that she wanted to keep Jacob, and his mad tater tot cooking skilz, around for life.
Their ceremony was held at the gorgeous North Chapel at Liberty Station. We could not have planned a more beautiful San Diego day! And the awesome thing about being a fantastic musician who plays in a brass quintet? You have lots of friends who are also fabulous players in brass quintets ;) The music for the ceremony was incredible.
Sarah planned her wedding attire so thoughtfully- she wore one grandmother's dress, which fit beautifully, another grandmother's pearls, and some super cute "something blues" on her feet!
I love their smiles!
The beautiful, heartfelt ceremony was followed by a fun reception full of playful details! Check back for Part 2 up on the blog this Thursday!
