As I moved silently- gathering details to photograph- between girls curling their hair, applying makeup, and laughing together, one bridesmaid quietly sidled up next to me with Alli's shoebox.  "Don't photograph the shoes just yet.  Tyler needs them."  He wanted to write a note on the bottom, to help her know how excited he was to be marrying her.  

I smiled and looked over at Alli with the sun streaming through the window, catching each curl around her face perfectly.  Today was going to be perfect, because Tyler was going to make sure it was perfect for the girl he loved.  After more than a decade of growing up beside his high school sweetheart, he knew how to make her heart swell with joy.  It didn't matter if the rain came as it threatened to, because rain or shine, Alli and Tyler would be getting their beautiful journey as a married couple off to a joyful start today.

Alli's Steve Madden's were the perfect bit of bling.  Understated but glitzy- they were just right to compliment her beautiful dress!

Alli wore the pearl necklace her grandfather had given her grandmother for their high school graduation in 1948.  She wore them for her wedding in 1952, then Alli's mother wore them on her wedding day in 1985.  

Tyler and Alli met in the courtyard for a quiet moment together.  I love a good first look!

Alli and Tyler know how to pick friends!  This bridal party was full of laughter and seriously up for anything- they made taking photos of them a total blast!

And OMG the ring bearer and flower girl!!!!!  How darling are they???

To entice little Parker down the aisle, mom threw a green ball.  We all got a good laugh when he chucked the ring box in favor of the ball!

Allies grand entrance down the staircase was breathtaking.
